Job Description:

Key Responsibilities:

  • Safety Monitoring & Compliance:

  • Monitor and ensure compliance with safety protocols, regulations, and company policies within the data center environment.

  • Conduct regular safety inspections, risk assessments, and audits to identify potential hazards.
  • Maintain and update safety documentation, including incident reports and emergency response plans.
  • Incident Response & Emergency Management:

  • Act as the first responder to safety incidents, ensuring proper mitigation and reporting.

  • Coordinate emergency response procedures, including fire drills, evacuation plans, and crisis management.
  • Investigate safety incidents, perform root cause analysis, and recommend corrective actions.
  • Safety Training & Awareness:

  • Develop and deliver safety training programs for data center staff and contractors.

  • Promote a strong safety culture by conducting briefings and awareness campaigns.
  • Stakeholder Communication:

  • Liaise with internal teams, contractors, and regulatory bodies to ensure adherence to safety standards.

  • Communicate safety alerts, reports, and updates in Mandarin and English (written & verbal).
  • Technology & Reporting:

  • Utilize SOC monitoring tools (e.g., CCTV, access control, fire detection systems) to track safety conditions.

  • Generate daily/weekly safety reports and present findings to management.
Qualifications & Requirements:

Education & Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Engineering, or related field.
  • 3+ years of experience in safety management, preferably in data centers, critical facilities

Technical Skills:

  • Proficient in safety management systems (SMS), risk assessment methodologies, and emergency response protocols.
  • Familiarity with data center operations (power, cooling, fire suppression systems).
  • Basic knowledge of local and international safety regulations.

Language & Soft Skills:

  • Fluent in English (spoken & written) to liaise with english-speaking stakeholders.
  • Able to communicate with mandarin si a plus
  • Strong English proficiency for reporting and cross-team collaboration.
  • Excellent problem-solving, communication, and leadership skills.
  • Ability to work under pressure in a 24/7 shift environment.
