About the role
We are seeking a talented Senior Interior Designer to join our growing team at PT Plaza Crystal International, a leading interior design firm based in Jakarta. As a Senior Interior Designer, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the design vision and driving the successful execution of high-profile commercial and residential projects. This is a full-time position based in our Jakarta office.
What you'll be doing
- Lead the design process from concept development to final implementation, ensuring projects are delivered to the highest standard
- Collaborate closely with clients to understand their requirements and translate their vision into innovative, functional and aesthetically-pleasing interior design solutions
- Produce detailed design drawings, specifications, and project documentation to guide the construction and installation phases
- Manage project timelines and budgets, ensuring seamless coordination with cross-functional teams and external vendors
- Stay up-to-date with the latest interior design trends, materials, and technologies to continuously enhance the firm's design capabilities
- Mentor and guide junior designers, supporting their professional development
What we're looking for
- Minimum 8 years of experience as an Interior Designer, with a strong track record of delivering high-quality commercial and/or residential projects
- Proficiency in design software such as AutoCAD, SketchUp, Adobe Creative Suite, and 3D modelling tools
- Excellent problem-solving, project management, and client-facing skills
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to work independently as well as part of a collaborative team
- Degree in Interior Design, Architecture, or a related field
- Exceptional communication and presentation skills, with the ability to convey design concepts effectively
