We are seeking a seasoned and strategic
Country HR Lead for Indonesia
to serve as a trusted partner to the business and leadership team. This role is pivotal in shaping and executing the people agenda for Indonesia, ensuring that talent strategies enable business growth, organizational effectiveness, and a strong employee experience.
The Country HR Lead will provide strategic advice to business leaders, act as a cultural steward, and represent Indonesia within the broader regional and global HR community.
Key Responsibilities
Strategic Leadership & Business Partnership- Act as a strategic advisor to the Country Leadership Team, providing insights and guidance on people strategy, organizational design, and workforce planning.
- Influence and challenge senior stakeholders to drive leadership effectiveness, high performance, and an inclusive workplace.
- Anticipate future workforce needs, ensuring the organization has the right capabilities to deliver on business priorities.
- Represent Indonesia's talent and organizational perspective in regional and global HR discussions, ensuring alignment while advocating for local needs.
Talent & Organizational Development- Lead country-level talent management, succession planning, and leadership development, ensuring a strong pipeline for critical roles.
- Partner with leaders to foster a growth mindset, employee engagement, and retention in a competitive talent market.
- Drive organizational change initiatives, ensuring effective communication, adoption, and cultural alignment.
Employee Advocacy & Culture- Serve as a cultural ambassador, fostering an environment of trust, inclusion, and engagement.
- Partner with leadership to address employee needs and strengthen the employee value proposition in Indonesia.
- Build strong relationships at all levels, from leadership to employees, to ensure HR is seen as a trusted and strategic partner.
Governance & Risk Management- Ensure alignment of HR practices with Indonesian labor laws and evolving employment regulations.
- Provide strategic oversight of employee relations and organizational risk, balancing compliance with business needs.
Key Requirements- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Human Resources, Business, or related field.
- 12–15 years of progressive HR leadership experience, including experience as a Country HR Head or senior HR Business Partner.
- Deep understanding of the Indonesia talent market, employment landscape, and business environment.
- Proven ability to influence senior stakeholders and act as a trusted advisor to leadership.
- Strong track record in talent strategy, leadership development, and organizational transformation.
- Excellent communication, relationship-building, and change leadership skills.
- Experience in a multinational organization, comfortable navigating complexity and matrix structures.
