Our client is seeking a dynamic and results-driven sales leader to oversee the country's sales operations. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading the sales team in developing and executing annual business growth plans and channel strategies, including visibility, pricing, and key growth initiatives. This role requires strong strategic vision, proven expertise in distributor management, exceptional leadership skills, and the ability to drive performance through effective planning, execution, and relationship management with trade partners.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement annual sales plans and medium-term strategies to achieve business growth targets
  • Define commercial policies, trade terms, and customer development plans in alignment with company objectives
  • Allocate sales targets across channels, customers, and sales teams, ensuring clear accountability
  • Identify new market opportunities and drive initiatives to increase market penetration
  • Monitor distributor performance against targets, providing guidance and support to improve results
  • Build a high-performance sales culture through engagement, coaching, and continuous development

Requirements:

  • Degree qualified with at least 10 years of sales leadership experience in FMCG, consumer goods, or a related industry
  • Proven track record in distributor management, channel development, and delivering sales growth within the Modern Trade environment
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to interact positively and professionally at all levels
