Position Summary
The Researcher will lead and support high-quality research and analytical projects, ensuring methodological rigor, policy relevance, and client satisfaction. This position requires strong analytical and communication skills, familiarity with both quantitative and qualitative research methods, and the ability to manage multiple projects and coordinate multi-stakeholder collaboration.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and implement robust methodologies for research and consulting projects.
- Conduct literature reviews, data collection, and data analysis (quantitative and/or qualitative).
- Draft, review, and finalize research outputs/deliverables such as policy briefs, reports, and presentations.
- Lead coordination with partners, consultants, and stakeholders.
- Contribute to proposal development, communication and visibility initiatives (LinkedIn, social media), and business development efforts.
- Supervise and mentor junior researchers or interns.
- Represent the organization in meetings, workshops, and external communications.
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Economics, Applied Economics, Economics Development, Public Policy, or related field.
- Minimum 3 years of relevant experience in research, consulting, or policy analysis.
- Proven ability to produce analytical reports and policy documents.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills; proficiency in data analysis tools (e.g. STATA, etc) and familiarity with national and international economic databases (e.g. BPS, BI, WITS, WDI, Trademap, etc).
- Excellent writing and communication skills in English and Bahasa Indonesia.
- Proactive, detail-oriented, and able to work independently or collaboratively.
