Responsibilities:
Model Changeover & New Model Trial Runs
- Managing Model Changeovers
: Lead the transition to new product models by updating
Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs)
, adjusting machine parameters, and changing out production tools. - Executing New Model Trial Runs
: Participate in trial runs, learn the procedures, and perform a comprehensive evaluation to ensure a smooth and successful launch.
Quality & Efficiency Improvement
- Minimizing Non-Good (NG) Products
: Regularly monitor
First Pass Yield (FPY)
percentages using kanban systems. Investigate the causes of high FPY percentages and implement improvements to reduce product defects. - Updating Parameters
: Use systems like
Product Lifecycle Management (PLM)
to update parameters in SOPs and Quality Control Flow Charts (QCFC). Adjust processes to reduce cycle time and modify parameters based on new machine measurements. - Analyzing Root Cause
: Investigate the root causes of NG products and Customer Technical Services (CTS) issues. This involves checking the production process and reviewing CCTV footage to identify and resolve problems.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Metallurgy Engineering.
- Proven experience in a manufacturing or production environment.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Experience with PLM or similar systems is a plus.
- Familiarity with quality control methodologies.
