About the role
Join PT Golden Cup Printing' as a Mandarin Translator working in our Kendal, Central Java office. This is a full-time position where you will play a critical role in facilitating seamless communication between our business and our Mandarin-speaking partners and clients.
What you'll be doing
- Translate written materials such as contracts, reports, and correspondence from Mandarin to English and vice versa
- Interpret during meetings and negotiations with Mandarin-speaking stakeholders
- Assist with the localisation of marketing and promotional content for our Mandarin-speaking audience
- Provide cultural guidance to ensure effective communication and collaboration
- Build strong relationships with internal and external Mandarin-speaking contacts
- Continuously develop your language and translation skills
What we're looking for
- Native or near-native proficiency in both Mandarin and English
- Proven experience as a professional translator.
- Excellent reading, written and verbal communication skills in both languages
- Strong attention to detail and ability to produce accurate, high-quality translations
- Cultural awareness and sensitivity when communicating with diverse stakeholders
- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team
- Relevant tertiary qualifications in languages, translation or a related field
