Responsibilities :

  • Planning, execute and implementing the development of new product/process, product/process improvements, and cost savings ideas.
  • Develop new product to comply with regulatory, Halal, Industry Standard and Customer Requirements.
  • Stay informed and up to date on what is happening in product trends, new technology and Regulatory issues.
  • Acts as a technical consultant to all company's operating units on formulation/processing issues related to assigned projects/products.

Qualifications :

  • A degree in Food Science/Technology.
  • Knowledgeable in food ingredients and its function.
  • Knowledge and/or experience with food specialty ingredients – sweeteners, fiber, modified starches as well as hydrocolloids is a plus.
  • Proficient at Food Product Formulation.
  • Familiar with Hazard Analysis and Critical Control Points (HACCP) Management System.
  • Familiar with Halal Management System.
  • Good Leadership and management skills, able to communicate well with colleagues; presentation skills, and a strong sense of creativity.
  • Minimum 5 years relevant work experience in Food Industry.
