The Ritz-Carlton Jakarta Mega Kuningan is seeking a Front Office Agent. The role involves delivering high-quality guest service, handling check-ins/check-outs, processing payments, answering guest inquiries, coordinating with various hotel departments, and maintaining accurate records and reports in the computer system.
Responsibilities- Process all guest check-ins by confirming reservations, assigning rooms, and issuing/activating room keys.
- Process all payment types (room charges, cash, checks, debit, credit) and handle check-outs, including resolving late or disputed charges.
- Answer, record, and process guest calls, messages, requests, questions, or concerns.
- Coordinate with Housekeeping to track room readiness for check-in.
- Communicate parking procedures to guests/visitors and dispatch bell staff or valet staff as needed.
- Provide guests with directions and information about the property and local areas of interest.
- Run daily reports (arrivals, departures), identify special requests, and verify report accuracy.
- Complete designated cashier and closing reports in the computer system.
- Handle cashing guests' personal checks and traveler's checks; count bank at the beginning and end of shift; balance and drop receipts according to accounting specifications.
- Follow all safety, security, and company policies; maintain professional appearance and confidentiality; protect company assets.
- Welcome and acknowledge guests according to standards; anticipate and address service needs; assist individuals with disabilities; show appreciation to guests.
- Speak clearly and professionally; use proper telephone etiquette; build positive working relationships; comply with quality assurance standards.
- Stand, sit, or walk for extended periods; move/lift/carry/push/pull objects as needed (up to 10 pounds); perform other duties as assigned by Supervisors.
- Education: High school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent.
- Related Work Experience: No related work experience required.
