Role OverviewWe are seeking a dedicated individual to join our team as a Accounting Manager / Office Manager for our Jakarta office. This is an exciting opportunity for someone looking to build a career in the energy transition, renewables, and commodities sectors. The role will be responsible for overseeing the financial operations and general affairs of the Jakarta office, working closely with our Sydney HQ and reporting directly to the Country Manager in Indonesia.
This position offers the opportunity to be part of a creative, diverse team with 50 years of expertise in the industry.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and manage the accounting system for the Jakarta office.
- Oversee office administration, including HR, tax, finance, and company procedures.
- Create and manage the AME budget, payroll, and office‑related expenses.
- Collaborate with the Country Manager on management discussions regarding financial and administrative matters.
- Provide regular internal reports to the Country Manager and Sydney HQ.
- Strong experience as an accounting manager.
- Confidence in leading and mentoring a team, setting a positive example for others.
- A genuine interest in the energy transition, with an understanding of renewable energy, net‑zero targets, resources, economics, and technology.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in finance and/or administration.
- In-depth knowledge of finance and accounting (PSAK and IFRS Standards).
- CPA qualification (Australia) is an advantage.
- Experience managing a team of at least 3 people.
- Strong understanding of company administration processes.
