CORE PURPOSE:
To provide strategic leadership and oversight of the Finance function, ensuring accurate financial reporting, compliance with statutory requirements, adequate internal controls, and sound financial planning that supports BSJ's strategic objectives and long-term sustainability.
The Head of Finance - Financial Controller acts as the Head of Business & Operations' closest professional partner, proactively engaging with all areas of the school to drive financial sustainability, operational efficiency, and people-focused leadership.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:
Essential:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related discipline (CPA preferred).
- Minimum 7–10 years of relevant professional experience, with at least 3 years in a financial leadership role.
- Proven expertise in accounting principles, taxation, and financial regulations.
- Demonstrated ability to prepare, interpret, and communicate complex financial information.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and leadership skills.
- Proficiency in financial systems and advanced MS Excel.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both in Indonesian and in English.
Desirable:
- Master's degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration.
- Experience working within an international school or education sector environment.
- Exposure to ERP/finance transformation projects.
