Qualifications
- Bachelor Degree (S1) in Industrial Engineering, Supply Chain Management, or related field.
- Minimum 3 years’ experience as a Purchasing Supervisor; experience in import purchasing/overseas sourcing is an advantage.
- Proficient in English (spoken & written) and possess strong communication and basic negotiation skills.
- Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, efficiency, and cost‑saving mindset.
- Honest, disciplined, detail‑oriented, able to maintain vendor & pricing confidentiality.
- Liaise and negotiate with suppliers, manufacturers, and retailers.
- Gather quotations from vendors and raise purchase requests (PR) for both operations and non‑operations.
- Conduct supplier canvassing following company’s three‑supplier rule.
- Establish supplier evaluation system covering delivery, quality, service, rewards, and penalty for material and transportation suppliers.
- Communicate with suppliers to prepare contracts and review finance approvals.
- Prepare CAPEX proposals and upload to OA: coordinate with team for forecasting, monitoring, and CAPEX support form.
- Create purchase requisitions and, once approved, proceed with purchases of basic office supplies, medicines/pantry supplies, etc.
- Procure and manage stock control of raw material, consumables, spare parts, tools, etc.
- Plan and manage logistics and transportation.
- Maintain procurement files including all relevant documentation and vendor tracking system.
- Understand local supply chain and import part processes.
- For import‑export related tasks:
- Understand regulations of procurement and import processes (LC/TT, HS Code, INSW, PIB, PEB, customs regulations, etc.).
- Coordinate and control import/export transactions with freight forwarding agents to ensure smooth operations.
