Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role, located in Surabaya, for a Research and Development Pastry Chef. The Pastry Chef will be responsible for conceptualizing and developing recipes and experimenting with innovative techniques to elevate the art of rolled cakes. Key tasks include preparing, baking, and designing dessert creations, sourcing premium ingredients, and ensuring product quality and consistency while embracing LOUÉ's commitment to craftsmanship and aesthetic excellence.
Qualifications
- Strong expertise in Bakery, Baking, and Food Preparation
- Proficiency in Cooking and Culinary Skills (Minimum 1 year of hands-on experience)
- Creativity and an ability to develop and refine recipes
- Attention to detail and understanding of premium ingredient sourcing
- Strong work ethic and ability to work collaboratively in a kitchen environment
- Prior experience in pastry or dessert creation is highly advantageous
- Formal culinary training or certification
