Project Manager – Your future position?
As the Project Manager, you will lead the implementation of large‑scale Capex investments or projects from business case and technical design through to successful on‑site execution and commissioning at local level while developing internal project management capabilities to deliver and support best in class Engineering/Maintenance. As this role is based in Depok, Cimanggis, you will be reporting to Operations Director while supervising 2 subordinates.
Strategy Design and Execution- Contribute to the development of the Regional Project Engineering plan by providing insights on project feasibility.
- Prepare business cases and project designs, coordinating their execution upon approval from sponsors and steering committees.
- Manage capital projects and studies for large‑scale initiatives across multiple processes, including technical solutions and contractor management.
- Develop project scopes, cost estimates, credit applications, and specifications.
- Ensure compliance with design and construction standards, as well as environmental, health, and safety (EHS) regulations.
- Define parameters for project execution, including timelines, detailed cost estimates, and deliverable lists.
- Request and allocate dedicated resources for project planning and execution.
- Oversee both internal and external resources assigned to projects.
- Co‑lead the tender process with suppliers and contractors.
- Implement project monitoring tools to track costs and resources effectively.
- Provide regular updates and reports to senior management and stakeholders.
- Assist in action and contingency planning for project management.
- Support resource planning initiatives within project management.
- Conduct hazard studies, risk assessments, and process optimizations.
- Supervise contractor activities on‑site for managed projects.
- Establish budgetary controls for approved projects.
- Produce all necessary design documentation.
- Execute project plans within the approved budget.
- Contribute to annual human resources processes by offering performance feedback on project team members to line managers.
- Collaborate with line managers and HR Business Partners to enhance project management capabilities within the Engineering function.
- Support the development and promotion of functional talents within and outside the Engineering team.

- Bachelor's degree or higher in Engineering or a related discipline.
- 7 to 10 years of work experience, with 1 to 2 years in leadership or people management.
- Experience managing engineering and CAPEX projects on factory sites, besides change management.
- Industry background from chemicals, food, or pharmaceutical industries are ideal.
- Proven ability to collaborate with diverse cultures in matrix organizations, including Global Centers of Excellence (CoE).
- Strong proficiency in project management methodologies, with a solid understanding of TPM, KPI, Six Sigma, Lean Manufacturing, and project control tools.
- Comprehensive knowledge of EHS regulations and financial concepts (OPEX, CAPEX) and tools (SAP).
- Additional certification in Plant Engineering/Maintenance or Project Management would be advantageous.
- Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills, along with negotiation skills for procurement and contractor management.
