We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Sales & Marketing Executive to drive business growth in the mining sector. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of mining operations, equipment, and services, with a proven track record in B2B sales, client relationship management, and market expansion.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute sales strategies to meet revenue targets for mining products/services (e.g., equipment, consulting, mineral commodities).
- Identify and engage potential clients (mining companies, contractors, suppliers) through cold calls, networking, and industry events.
- Build and maintain long-term relationships with key decision-makers (e.g., procurement managers, project directors).
- Conduct market research to identify trends, competitor activities, and new opportunities in the mining sector.
- Prepare and present technical proposals, quotations, and contracts tailored to client needs.
- Collaborate with technical teams to ensure alignment between client requirements and company offerings.
- Represent the company at trade shows, conferences, and industry forums.
- Monitor sales pipelines, forecast performance, and report metrics to management.
- Stay updated on mining regulations, sustainability practices, and technological advancements.
Requirements
Education:
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Mining Engineering, Geology, or a related field.
Experience:
- Minimum 3–5 years of experience in sales/marketing roles within the mining, heavy machinery, or industrial sectors.
- Proven success in meeting/exceeding sales targets in B2B environments.
Technical Skills:
- Proficiency in CRM software (e.g., Salesforce) and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Knowledge of mining processes, equipment, and safety standards is a plus
Soft Skills:
- Excellent negotiation, communication, and presentation skills.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and in teams.
- Willingness to travel frequently to client sites (domestic/international).
Language:
- Fluency in English (additional languages relevant to target markets are a plus).
