About The team
The Vendor Management team is at the core of our logistics network, ensuring that every vendor partner operates with excellence, accountability, and alignment to our business strategy. We oversee the full vendor lifecycle: from selection and onboarding to performance management and governance, ensuring each partner is equipped to deliver the capacity, service quality, and reliability our operations demand.
Job Responsibilities:
Monitor vendor KPIs (e.g., service quality, delivery lead times, cost efficiency, claims).
Partner with vendors to implement improvement initiatives and close performance gaps.
Provide recommendations to business teams on vendor allocation strategies based on performance and capability.
Conduct regular vendor reviews and performance dialogues to ensure alignment with company objectives.
Develop vendor capacity planning models to match forecasted volumes.
Align vendor resources with operational peaks, new product launches, or special projects.
Coordinate with Operations, Planning, and Business teams to ensure vendors are adequately prepared for demand fluctuations.
Identify risks in vendor capacity and propose mitigation strategies.
Supervise Vendor Management Associates, ensuring their work aligns with established SOPs and organizational goals.
Continuously improve processes related to vendor billing, dispute resolution, and governance.
Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain, Logistics, or related field
5+ years of experience in vendor management, supply chain, or logistics, with at least 2–3 years in a managerial role.
Proven track record in vendor negotiations, performance management, and capacity planning.
Solid understanding of invoicing, claims, and dispute resolution processes.
Excellent leadership skills with the ability to manage and develop a team.
Strong stakeholder management and communication skills across internal and external parties.
Proficiency in Excel, Google Sheets, and BI/reporting tools.
Preferred Qualifications:
Strong analytical skills with experience in data-driven decision-making.
Ability to engage and influence operations stakeholders.
Strong communication and data storytelling ability.
