Job Summary
We are seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Finance Staff member to join our finance & operations team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining financial records, ensuring the accuracy of transactions, and supporting the day-to-day operations of the finance & operations department.
Key Responsibilities
Perform daily accounting operations, including processing accounts payable/receivable, and recording financial transactions.
Execute bank reconciliations on a daily basis to ensure all cash transactions are accounted for and properly recorded.
Prepare and post basic journal entries for accruals, adjustments, and recurring transactions.
Utilize the CoreTax system to assist with tax-related data preparation and reporting.
Maintain and manage the company's financial records within our cloud-based accounting system (Xero).
Assist in the preparation of monthly, and year-end financial reports and schedules.
Support the audit process by providing necessary documentation and explanations.
Ensure compliance with company policies and relevant accounting standards.
Collaborate with other team members to improve accounting processes and efficiency.
Perform other ad-hoc finance and administrative duties as assigned.
Qualifications and Requirements
Education:
Bachelor's degree in Accounting
Experience:
Fresh Graduate or experienced 1 year in an accounting or finance role.
Required: Proven experience with cloud-based accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks Online, Xero, Sage Intacct).
Required: Solid understanding and hands-on experience performing bank reconciliations.
Required: Proficiency in preparing and posting basic accounting journal entries.
Optional: Familiarity with the CoreTax system for tax compliance and filing.
Experience with general ledger functions and the month-end/year-end close/audit process is a plus.
Skills and Competencies:
Strong understanding of basic accounting principles (GAAP).
High level of accuracy and attention to detail for handling financial data.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Able to operate in Microsoft Office Suite, with advanced skills in Excel (e.g., VLOOKUPs, Pivot Tables).
Strong written and verbal communication skills (Bahasa/English)
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
