About the role
We are seeking an experienced Senior Procurement Specialist to join our dynamic team at ei.embeauty. In this full-time role based in West Jakarta, Jakarta, you will play a pivotal part in ensuring the efficient and effective procurement of goods and services to support our manufacturing and logistics operations.
What you'll be doing
- Manage the end-to-end procurement process, from sourcing and negotiating contracts to monitoring supplier performance
- Collaborate cross-functionally to understand business needs and identify strategic procurement opportunities
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with a diverse supplier base to secure the best commercial terms
- Implement and oversee procurement policies and procedures to ensure compliance and maximise value
- Analyse spend data and market trends to identify cost savings and process improvements
- Provide expert advice and guidance to internal stakeholders on all procurement-related matters
- Mentor and develop more junior members of the procurement team
What we're looking for
- 4+ years' experience in a senior procurement or supply chain role, preferably in the manufacturing specializing in FMCG (Fast Moving Consumer Goods)
- Demonstrated expertise in strategic sourcing, contract negotiation and vendor management
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret data and drive data-driven decisions
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence and build consensus
- Thorough understanding of procurement best practices, regulations and compliance requirements
- Degree in STEM or Accounting from reputable university will be a plus
