Job Purpose

The HSE Manager is responsible for developing, implementing, and maintaining the Health, Safety, and Environmental (HSE) management system to ensure compliance with national regulations, company standards, and international best practices. This position plays a key role in fostering a safety-first culture and ensuring a safe and sustainable operation across the forging and manufacturing facilities.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop, implement, and monitor HSE policies, procedures, and programs in line with ISO 45001 and ISO 14001 standards.
  • Conduct regular safety inspections, risk assessments, and audits at the plant and workshop areas.
  • Lead and coordinate incident investigations, root cause analysis, and corrective actions.
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant Indonesian safety, environmental, and labor regulations.
  • Coordinate with production, maintenance, and quality teams to embed safe work practices in daily operations.
  • Prepare and submit periodic HSE reports to management and relevant authorities (if required).
  • Lead initiatives for continuous improvement in workplace safety and environmental sustainability.

Qualifications & Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in related field.
  • Minimum 5–7 years of experience in HSE management within manufacturing, heavy industry, or metal forging environments.
  • Strong knowledge of Indonesian HSE regulations (K3, AMDAL, Waste Management).
  • Preferably certified in Ahli K3 Umum and ISO 45001 / ISO 14001 implementation.
  • Proven ability to lead and train teams in safety culture and risk management.
  • Strong communication and leadership skills; able to collaborate across departments.
