Overview
Analyze and determine suitable materials for footwear designs provided by the design team. Ensure material compliance with ISO standars and certifications. Prepare and calculate Bill of Materials (BOM) and cost estimations for production. Maintain strong relationships with material suppliers and negotiate for quality, price, and timely delivery. Stay updated with the latest footwear material trends and design developments. Collaborate closely with designers, production and QC teams to ensure material feasibility and quality.

- Prepare and calculate Bill of Materials (BOM) and cost estimations for production.
- Maintain strong relationships with material suppliers and negotiate for quality, price, and timely delivery.
- Stay updated with the latest footwear material trends and design developments.
- Collaborate with designers, production and QC teams to ensure material feasibility and quality.
- Proven experience in footwear material management or supervision
- Strong knowledge of footwear materials, sourcing, and supplier management
- Understanding of ISO related principles and compliance requirements
- Proficiency in cost estimation, BOM calculation, and material analysis
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills with suppliers
- Proactive, detail oriented, and up to date with footwear design innovations
