Telecom Test Technician – Responsibilities

  • Component-Level Repairs
    : Expertly handle soldering equipment to replace or rework defective electronic components on circuit boards, following industry quality standards.
  • Software Configuration
    : Update, configure, and test software in repaired units to ensure optimal performance in line with manufacturer specifications.
  • Testing & Diagnostics
    : Use diagnostic tools (multimeters, oscilloscopes, etc.) to troubleshoot, test, and validate telecom hardware functionality.
  • Documentation
    : Accurately log all repairs, test results, parts used, and any deviations from standard procedures in technical logs or maintenance systems.
  • Standards Compliance
    : Apply knowledge of telecommunication standards (GSM, WCDMA, LTE, 5G NR) to diagnose issues and verify performance of repaired units.
  • Soldering Excellence
    : Perform precision soldering on both surface-mount (SMT) and through-hole components while maintaining high quality to prevent rework or additional faults.

Requirements :

  • Education
    : Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Telecommunications, or related field.
  • Experience
    : Prior experience in telecom equipment repair or electronics testing preferred.
  • Technical Skills
    :
  • Strong foundation in electronics repair principles.
  • Proficiency in schematic diagram interpretation and component-level troubleshooting.
  • Skilled in SMT and through-hole soldering techniques.
  • Knowledge
    : Understanding of telecom technologies including GSM, WCDMA, LTE, and 5G NR

  • Other Skills
