Role Description

This is a paid internship role for a Finance and Accounting Intern. The intern will assist with financial analysis, preparing financial statements, and supporting accounting tasks. Responsibilities include working with financial data, collaborating with team members, and maintaining accurate records. This is a hybrid role based in the Jakarta Metropolitan Area, with some work-from-home flexibility.

Responsibilities

AP Division:

  • Register the Vendor's Details from Vendor Registration Form into Vendor List.
  • Control all payments are in line with the SOP in terms of the completeness of the supporting documents and validity of invoice and tax invoice.
  • Data entry and posting of invoices to Document Control Files.
  • Create, input and upload transactions Journal into accounting software.
  • To ensure all invoices submission has been recorded at the end of the day.
  • Preparation of reconciliation for employee advances and settlements. Follow up on any unliquidated employee cash advances.
  • Respond to internal and external inquiries related to the document completeness and/or discrepancy in vendor's invoices and payments in timely manners.
  • Report to AP Specialist for all discrepancies or dispute related with transactions and/or AP activities.
  • Supporting AP Specialist for administrative and document filings at One Drive.

AR Division:

  • Updating PO List in daily basis
  • Assist with preparation of invoice and tax invoice (VAT)
  • Supporting AR Specialist for Invoice filling at One Drive
  • Collecting the Tax Invoice for the Withholding Tax from our Clients along the year

Treasury Division:

  • Monitor daily cash balances and update Cash Flow Projection in weekly basis
  • Reconciling of bank statement and transactions
  • Bank administration, such as request bank reference for project tender

GL Division:

  • Maintenance of fixed asset registers and prepaid expenses list
  • Reconcile the data that will be pursued or has already been worked on
  • Assisting in the preparation of financial statements
  • Assisting in migration project (accounting system) - if any

Others:

  • Supporting Finance-related ad-hoc analysis for both internal and external use (including Audit)
  • Organize, clean up and sort out the documents from the warehouse
  • Assisting in administrative tasks

Qualifications

  • Candidate must be final year student or fresh graduate or at least 3rd year undergraduates in Accounting from a reputable university
  • Have basic knowledge in basic Accounting, Taxation and Finance
  • Intermediate skill in Microsoft Excel (Able to use various feature such as VLookup, Pivot Table, etc.)
  • Proficient in using Microsoft Office 365 is a plus point
  • Fluent in English both written and oral
  • Should have good communication and interpersonal skills
  • Able to work independently as well as a team member in a fast-paced and high-volume environment
  • Strong ethics with an ability to manage confidential data
  • Eager to learn, organized, detail oriented and have a can-do attitude
  • Ability to manage and prioritize tasks and to work from Monday to Friday at working hours
