Job Responsibilities:
• Perform valve assembly, disassembly, maintenance, and repair according to technical specifications and company standards.
• Conduct functional tests and inspections to ensure valves operate within required performance parameters.
• Diagnose issues, troubleshoot malfunctions, and replace defective parts when necessary.
• Interpret and apply technical drawings, schematics, and work instructions accurately.
• Prepare, calibrate, and maintain tools and equipment used in valve servicing to ensure readiness and reliability.
• Document service, repair, and inspection activities in accordance with company procedures.
• Coordinate with the QC and Engineering departments to ensure compliance with quality requirements and customer specifications.
• Ensure all work is carried out in alignment with health, safety, and environmental (HSE) standards.
Qualifications:
• A minimum of D3 in Mechanical Engineering from Polytechnic of Manufacturing is a MUST.
• At least 1 year of experience in the valve industry (assembly, servicing, maintenance, or repair). Previous experience in the Oil & Gas industry is an advantage
• Strong knowledge of valve types, components, and operating principles (mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic).
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, schematics, and manuals.
• Skilled in using precision measurement tools and standard mechanical tools.
• Good understanding of safety standards and procedures related to valve operations.
• Fluent in English, both spoken and written, is an advantage.
• Disciplined, detail-oriented, and capable of working independently as well as in a team.
