About the role
We are seeking an experienced Footwear Production and QC Manager to join our dynamic team at Deckers International HK Limited. In this full-time role, you will be responsible for overseeing the production process and ensuring the highest standards of quality control for our footwear products.
What you'll be doing
- Manage the end-to-end production process, from planning and scheduling to quality assurance and problem-solving
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimise production workflows and improve efficiency
- Implement and monitor quality control measures to ensure products meet strict specifications
- Identify and resolve production issues promptly, implementing corrective actions as needed
- Train and supervise production staff to maintain high levels of performance and quality
- Analyse production data and generate reports to track key metrics and drive continuous improvement
- Liaise with suppliers and logistics partners to ensure timely delivery of materials and finished goods
What we're looking for
- Minimum 5 years of experience in a similar production and quality control management role within the footwear or manufacturing industry
- Proven ability to lead and motivate production teams, with strong problem-solving and decision-making skills
- Excellent technical knowledge of footwear manufacturing processes, materials, and quality standards
- Proficient in data analysis and reporting, with the ability to use relevant software tools
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams
- Familiarity with lean manufacturing principles and continuous improvement methodologies
- Tertiary qualification in a relevant field, such as Engineering or Production Management, is preferred
