Role overview: A Network Engineer is responsible for planning, implementing, and maintaining day‑to‑day support for network and core services. The Cloud Network Engineer also selects the best cloud expertise and scales cloud services to meet growing business demands.
Responsibilities- Analyze and troubleshoot network customer problems.
- Perform installation, configuration, and maintenance.
- Produce technical reports on completed work.
- Consult with customers to discover growth strategies.
- Resolve network issues and monitor performance and utilization.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or equivalent.
- At least 1 year of experience in a System Integrator, Cloud Provider, or IT Managed Service Company.
- Deep knowledge of network routing, switching, security, wireless, VPN, and SD‑WAN.
- Hands‑on implementation experience with CISCO, Ruckus, Huawei, and Forti.
- Excellent analytical and troubleshooting skills.
- Familiarity with TCP/IP, DNS, proxies, DHCP, and solid understanding of network protocols and best practices.
- Ability to handle network vulnerabilities.
- Working location: Jakarta.

Senior Network Engineer – PT Gateway Network ServicesSalary: IDR9,000,000 – IDR12,000,000
Responsibilities- Analyze customer needs.
- Provide solutions and recommendations according to customer needs.
- Preventive and corrective maintenance.
- Troubleshoot and solve customer problems.
- Monitor network, collaboration, and security devices.
- Responsive services.
- SMK TKJ/S1 in Informatics Engineering, Telecommunication Engineering, Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or related discipline.
- Certificate CCNA Routing & Switching is an advantage.
- Knowledge of TCP/IP, internet, and networking.
- Familiarity with Cisco products.
- Good knowledge of various IT technologies (servers, external storage, operating systems, applications, collaboration, etc.) is an advantage.
- 2–3 years of relevant experience.
- Good communication skills and good attitude.
- Under the leadership of the Chief Technical Officer, support company’s network installation and operation.
- Familiar with HUB system, Newtech, HUGHES system (highly preferred), BOSS system, customer management system.
- Provide necessary support for VSAT engineering to design customer network.
- Working experience in ISP is highly preferred.
- Familiar with Indonesia local network resource is highly preferred.
- Minimum 5 years of solid experience in configuration, operation, and maintenance duties related to network troubleshooting, implementation, and coordination.
- Hands‑on experience in Cisco router and switch technologies.
- Professional certificates in CCNA or CCNP are preferred.
- Able to work under pressure and handle multi‑tasks with ease.
- Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills.
- On‑site support / standby duty may be required.
- Good command of written and spoken English.
- Maximize network performance by monitoring performance; troubleshoot network problems and outages; schedule upgrades; collaborate with network architects on network optimization.
- Communicate with Japanese HQ sales section.
- Bachelor’s degree in information technology.
- Microsoft Certified Solutions Associate (MCSA) Office 365 certification.
- Microsoft Certified Solutions Expert (MCSE) Messaging certification.
