Responsibilities:

  • Calculate the required quantity, volume, material specifications and prices, scope of work, man hours according to the documents / drawings / specs provided.
  • Calculates work volumes from architectural drawings (quantity take-off).
  • Prepares cost estimates (BOQ and Budget Plans) and unit price analyses.
  • Monitor and update prices.
  • Create a project implementation time (time schedule).
  • Making project tender.
  • Price negotiating with supplier and contractor.

Requirements:

  • Minimum 3 years experience in Quantity Surveyor or Estimator
  • Bachelor of Civil Engineering.
  • Understanding Architectural Drawings and Design
  • Able to read and interpret working drawings (plans, elevations, sections, and details).
  • Understands the relationship between design elements: structure, MEP, and architecture.
  • Knowledgeable about building materials and their characteristics (function, cost, durability, aesthetics).
  • Understands SNI/AHSP standards for construction cost calculations.
  • Aware of factors affecting project costs (location, materials, labor, inflation).
  • Mastering software: AutoCAD / Revit, SketchUp, Microsoft office.
