RESPONSIBILITIES :- Calculate material requirements for project components based on shop drawings.
- Perform site visits for surveys, progress monitoring, and project completion verification.
- Monitor and control material costs, ensuring alignment with the approved project budget.
- Monitor stock levels and coordinate with the procurement team to ensure timely ordering of necessary materials and accessories.
- Ensure excess or unused materials are returned to the warehouse to maintain accurate inventory records.
- Identify and recommend alternative materials that provide improved quality or cost benefits without compromising technical standards.
- Verify any additional material requests beyond initial plans through site checks.
COMPULSORY QUALIFICATION :
- Bachelor's degree in Quantity Surveying, Electrical Engineering Management, or a related field.
- Minimum 2–5 years of experience in quantity surveying, material cost control, or a similar role, preferably with experience in MEP.
- Strong knowledge of material estimating, cost control, and construction project workflows.
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel and other project management or cost estimation tools.
- Familiarity with interpreting shop drawings and technical documentation.
- Excellent attention to detail, organizational, and communication skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a team and on-site environment.
- Willing to travel to project sites as needed.
- Able to communicate and write in English (oral & written).
- Own personal vehicle for mobility.
