The key Responsibilities are:

1. Contract Management & Administration

  • Prepare, review, and administer all project-related contracts including design, consultancy, procurement, and construction.
  • Draft contract correspondence, variation orders, and claims-related documentation.
  • Monitor and manage contract deliverables, milestones, and compliance with terms and conditions.
  • Maintain accurate contract records and ensure timely renewals, extensions, or closures.

2. Tendering & Procurement

  • Manage end-to-end tendering processes, including preparation of tender documents, bid evaluation, and recommendation reports.
  • Conduct pre-qualification of contractors and suppliers.
  • Lead tender clarification and negotiation sessions to achieve competitive and compliant outcomes.

3. Cost & Claims Management

  • Review and evaluate contractors' progress claims, variations, and potential change orders.
  • Support the project team in evaluating entitlement and quantum of claims.
  • Work closely with Quantity Surveyors to ensure accurate cost control and forecasting.

4. Risk Management & Compliance

  • Identify and assess contractual and commercial risks; propose mitigation measures.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, legal standards, and relevant regulations.
  • Support the legal team in resolving disputes, preparing contract notices, and managing adjudication or arbitration if required.

5. Stakeholder Coordination

  • Liaise with internal departments (Design, Development, Finance, Legal) to ensure alignment of commercial terms and project objectives.

  • Coordinate with external consultants and contractors to support project execution.

6. Document Control

  • Establish, implement, and maintain the project's document control system in accordance with project requirements.
  • Ensure all documents are properly coded, dated, and version-controlled.
  • Maintain master lists of drawings issued by consultants and contractors.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering, Quantity Surveying, or related discipline.
  • Minimum 10 years of experience in contract administration and quantity survey.
  • Solid understanding of FIDIC or other standard contract forms.
  • Proven experience in tendering, claims assessment, and cost management.
  • Strong commercial acumen with attention to contractual detail and risk management.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and contract management software.
