About the role
This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced Golang Developer to join PT. SIGMA GLOBAL TEKNOLOGI (SIGMATECH), an established IT company that specialises in developing innovative solutions for the banking industry. As a Golang Developer, you will be responsible for designing, developing and maintaining high-performance, scalable and secure Golang applications that power our clients' critical banking systems.
What you'll be doing
- Design, develop and implement Golang applications and microservices for the banking industry
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand requirements and translate them into technical solutions
- Write clean, efficient and well-documented Golang code that meets the highest standards of quality and performance
- Participate in the full software development life cycle, including planning, coding, testing and deployment
- Continuously research and implement the latest Golang best practices, tools and technologies
- Troubleshoot and debug issues in production environments, providing timely and effective resolutions
- Mentor and share knowledge with junior members of the development team
What we're looking for
- Strong proficiency in Golang programming language and its core concepts
- Hands-on experience in building and deploying Golang-based applications, especially in the banking industry
- Familiarity with Golang frameworks, libraries and tools such as Gin, Gorm, Cobra, etc.
- Experience with designing and implementing RESTful APIs and microservices architecture
- Proficient in writing clean, modular and testable code
- Excellent problem-solving and critical thinking skills
- Strong communication and collaboration skills to work effectively in a team environment
- Familiarity with container technologies like Docker and Kubernetes is a plus
