Job Description
  • Purpose of Job
    • To oversee the daily operations and visual merchandising of all retail outlets, ensuring effective inventory management, appealing product presentation, and consistent brand identity across souvenirs, apparel, F&B, and consignment. Through planning, organizing, directing, supervising staff, and controlling store layouts and displays, this role aims to enhance customer experience, drive sales performance, and achieve company targets in line with the organization's vision and mission.
Main Duties & Responsibilities
  • Financial
    • To ensure each outlet is managed successfully to achieve the sales targets by monitoring store performance, implementing promotions, and planning strategies
    • To monitor all retail costs
    • To coordinate with the related departments on procuring retail stock and to maintain stock levels efficiently
  • Operational
    • Supervise and support day‑to‑day outlet operations to ensure efficiency and consistency
    • Responsible for recruitment, onboarding, and training of new staff.
    • Provide ongoing coaching and feedback to team members to maintain high performance.
    • Address basic customer complaints or inquiries, escalating to the General Manager when necessary.
    • Responsible for achieving sales goals by promoting products, running sales campaigns, and motivating the team to upsell the products
    • Monitor inventory levels and participate in regular stock checks.
    • Assist in communication and coordination with vendors and consignment partners.
    • Ensuring products are properly displayed and organized to maximize sales
    • Ensure that all stores maintain high standards of cleanliness, hygiene, safety, and company presentation.
    • Preparing sales reports and store performance summaries for review by the General Manager.
    • Help troubleshoot operational issues and resolve staff concerns promptly.
    • Manage staff schedules and assignments when delegated.
    • Support the implementation of security procedures in retail outlets and retail operation policies.
    • Responsible for market merchandise by studying advertising, sales promotion, and display plans; analysing operating and financial statements for profitability ratios.
    • Maintains operations by initiating, coordinating, and enforcing program, operational, and creating policies and procedures.
  • VISUAL MERCHANDISING
    • Design and implement creative visual displays, layouts, and store arrangements that enhance the in‑store experience and highlight product collections.
    • Ensure brand consistency across all outlets through creative and effective merchandising standards.
    • Plan seasonal themes, product launches, and promotional displays in collaboration with the retail and marketing teams.
    • Monitor store presentation regularly and adjust displays to maintain freshness and appeal.
    • Work closely with the assistant retail manager and all team to balance creative displays with sales performance and inventory needs.
    • Stay updated with market trends and competitor activities to keep the brand presentation relevant and competitive.
  • GENERAL
    • Provide accurate information to customers regarding park facilities and retail offerings.
    • Foster positive relationships with team members, vendors, and management.
  • EMPLOYEE HANDLING
    • Facilitate communication between staff and management to ensure a harmonious work environment.
    • Help cultivate a high‑performing retail team through support and mentoring.
    • Motivate staff to prioritize guest satisfaction through hands‑on involvement.
    • Promote a positive work culture and uphold staff discipline and SOP adherence.
    • Monitor staff conduct and assist in addressing performance or behavioral issues.
    • Train and guide store staff on merchandising standards and display maintenance.
    • Participate in planning and delivering retail staff training programs.
    • Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.
Qualifications
  • Strong Communication skills, English is a must.
  • Strong sense of creativity, style, and attention to detail.
  • At least 2 years of experience in the Fashion / Apparel / FB Retail industry.
  • Experience in retail management.
  • Customer satisfaction‑oriented.
  • Good knowledge of visual merchandising, sales, and inventory tracking.
  • Well‑organized with strong time management skills.
