About the role
We are seeking a dynamic and driven Sales Executive to join our team at PT DGL Expedisi Indonesia
This is a full-time position based in :
- Jakarta, or
- Semarang Central Java, or
- Surabaya, East Java where you will be responsible for driving new business growth and building lasting relationships with clients.
What you'll be doing
- Proactively identify and pursue new business opportunities within your designated territory
- Establish and maintain strong relationships with existing and prospective clients
- Understand client needs and provide tailored solutions to meet their logistics requirements
- Prepare and deliver persuasive sales presentations to secure new business
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless client onboarding and service delivery
- Analyse market trends and competitor activity to develop effective sales strategies
- Achieve and exceed individual sales targets
What we're looking for
- Proven track record of success in new business development, preferably within the logistics or transportation industry
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to build strong relationships at all levels
- Proactive, target-driven and self-motivated with a passion for exceeding sales goals
- Proficient in Microsoft Office suite and comfortable using CRM systems
- Strong negotiation and problem-solving skills to overcome objections and close deals
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team to achieve collective success
