About the role
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Switchgear Service Engineer to join our team at PT Sinergi Pratama Sukses, based in South Jakarta. This full-time position plays a crucial role in ensuring the reliable performance and maintenance of our electrical switchgear systems.
What you'll be doing
- Conduct regular inspections and preventative maintenance on our electrical switchgear equipment
- Troubleshoot and diagnose any issues or faults with switchgear systems, and implement effective repair solutions
- Liaise with clients to understand their specific requirements and provide expert technical advice
- Maintain detailed records of all servicing and maintenance activities
- Collaborate with the broader engineering team to identify opportunities for system improvements
- Adhere to all relevant safety protocols and procedures
What we're looking for
- Degree in Electrical Engineering or a related discipline
- Minimum 5 years' experience as a MV/LV Switchgear/MCC and Circuit Breaker Maintenance, Motor contractor and testing
- Good command of the English language
- Fully qualified in the operation of the test equipment and have an able to work with minimum supervision
- Familiar with safety processes and facilities in Oil & Gas Industry
- Familiar with international standards
- Familiar with produce work schedule and procedures
- Familiar with troubleshooting and maintenance of Arc type Switchgear especially ABB Switchgear including networking control inside its control system
- Strong communication and customer service skills
- Commitment to safety and attention to detail
