This position is needed to ensure business requirements are translated into clear technical specifications and that all system releases meet quality standards. Currently, these tasks are split across different team members, causing misalignment, delays, and higher defect rates. Having a combined System Analyst & QA will streamline processes, reduce errors, and improve delivery time.
Workload
- Gather and document business & system requirements.
- Create BRD, SRS, and system flow diagrams.
- Coordinate with developers to ensure requirements are understood.
- Design and execute test cases for functional, integration, regression, and UAT testing.
- Report and track bugs until resolved.
- Validate fixes before release
Job Description
- Analyze business requirements and translate them into clear technical specifications.
- Gather data from stakeholders through interviews, observations, and document analysis.
- Prepare Business Requirement Document (BRD), System Requirement Specification (SRS), process flow diagrams, and other technical documentation.
- Act as a bridge between business teams, product owners, and technical teams.
- Manual & Automated Testing: Create and execute functional, regression, and integration test cases.
- Automation Development: Design and maintain automated test scripts using established frameworks.
- Bug Management: Report and track bugs with clear descriptions and reproduction steps using Jira, supported by proper documentation.
- Team Collaboration: Coordinate closely with the development team and product manager to ensure product quality meets agreed standards.
- Perform functional testing, integration testing, regression testing, and support user acceptance testing (UAT).
- Provide recommendations for system improvements to enhance performance and user experience.
