We are seeking an experienced SEM Lead to join our Performance Marketing team.
In this role, you'll lead the planning, execution, and optimization of paid search campaigns to drive visibility, qualified traffic, and conversions. You'll manage end-to-end SEM strategy, from keyword planning and bid optimization to budget forecasting and performance analysis.
Key Responsibilities
Campaign strategy & execution: Plan, develop and manage paid search campaigns for Google Ads SEM (Search, Display, Youtube, etc.), adjusting structure, bidding strategies & targeting, and budgets to meet objectives & share actionable insights.
Keyword & search‑term research: Conduct thorough keyword research, including competitive analysis, keyword discovery, expansion and optimization, to build high‑intent keyword portfolios and remove irrelevant search terms.
Ad copywriting & creative optimisation: Craft compelling ad copy and ad extensions; test multiple variations to improve quality score, CTR% and CVR%.
Landing page & funnel optimisation: Collaborate with UX/design teams to ensure landing pages align with ad messaging; run A/B and multivariate tests to improve conversion rates and reduce cost per acquisition.
A/B testing & campaign reporting: Design and run A/B and implement winning variants, and conduct weekly performance reviews of SEM trends & competitor activity, as well as its metrics such as CTR, CPC, CVR, and ROAS
Qualifications & Skills
Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, Engineering, Communications or related field.
2–4+ years of hands‑on experience managing paid search/SEM campaigns and budgets, with a proven record of meeting KPIs.
Proficiency in search‑advertising platforms (mainly Google Ads) and analytics/reporting tools (Google Analytics, Excel), adept at bid management and budget stewardship.
Strong quantitative skills and ability to interpret complex data sets
Experience with keyword research, search‑term cleaning and negative keyword management and its tools (SEMrush, Ahrefs, etc.), A/B testing, audience segmentation and advanced bidding strategies
Familiarity with SEO principles and basic HTML/CSS or other programming language is a plus; ability to coordinate with SEO specialists to align paid and organic strategies.
