PT Trisco TAM is seeking a Material Coordinator to join our team. In this role, you will be the key person responsible for overseeing and managing all material inventory at our facility. Your sharp attention to detail and proactive approach will be essential to ensuring our production processes run smoothly and efficiently.

Job Description

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for all inventory owned by buyer at Trisco, including buttons, linings, shell fabrics, and denim.
  • Monitor daily fabric consumption for new orders and re-cuts, working with the Trisco and buyer teams to create a reliable system for accurate inventory consumption.
  • Conduct regular physical checks to reconcile on-hand inventory with administrative records, proactively identifying and resolving any discrepancies.
  • Oversee all cycle counts and annual inventory checks to guarantee the highest level of accuracy for our stock.

Day-to-Day Functions

  • Evaluate on-hand inventory levels and identify any materials (fabrics, buttons, etc.) that are running low.
  • Prepare and submit purchase orders for approval by our team in America.
  • Ensure a smooth flow of purchase orders, verifying that all materials arrive at Trisco with the correct and complete paperwork.
  • Collaborate with the IT team to ensure a seamless check-in process and timely updates in the administrative system, allowing orders to be processed without delay.
  • Proactively investigate and resolve issues with long-standing orders that haven't been started, such as those held up by fabric shortages.
  • Communicate directly with vendors or advise our American counterparts on necessary corrections to prevent paperwork or check-in issues.
  • Support factory workers by serving as a resource for shell fabric questions and troubleshooting.
  • Match materials for new collections and obtain final approval from our American team.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in a material coordination or logistics role within the apparel or textile industry.
  • Able to communicate in English (Speaking & Writing).
  • Strong organizational and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Effective communication skills, with the ability to work collaboratively with both local and international teams.
  • Proven proficiency with inventory management software (e.g., SAP, Oracle, etc.).
  • Willing to be placed in Bandung.
