Position Overview
We are looking for an Interior Drafter
to join our team. This role is essential in translating design concepts into detailed technical drawings that can be built with accuracy and quality. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, proficient in AutoCAD, and understands the technical aspects of how interior design is executed on site.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop accurate
2D drawings and detailed shop drawings
using AutoCAD. - Translate design concepts into technical details that are
buildable and practical
. - Collaborate with designers and project managers to ensure drawings meet
design intent and site requirements
. - Ensure drafting standards and office guidelines are followed consistently.
- Assist in coordinating drawings with contractors, suppliers, and other project stakeholders.
- Review and adjust drawings based on feedback from the design team or site conditions.
Qualifications
- Proficient in
AutoCAD
(mandatory). - Minimum 1–2 years of relevant experience in
interior drafting
. - Strong knowledge of
interior construction methods, materials, and detailing
. - Detail-oriented and able to produce clear, accurate technical drawings.
- Good communication skills and ability to work in a team.
- Able to adapt to
office standards and project workflows
. - Familiar with interior design processes from concept to construction.
