About The Role
The role involves supervising Training Specialists and ensuring effective training programs that support departmental and company goals. Responsibilities include scheduling sessions, managing onboarding and refresher training, and helping design materials focused on insurance sales and portal use. The role also delivers engaging sessions through webinars, simulations, and in-person formats while creating a positive learning environment. Working with the Training Manager, this position identifies training needs, evaluates program effectiveness, maintains accurate records, and ensures compliance with company standards.
Responsibilities
- Supervise and support Training Specialists in developing and delivering programs
- Coordinate scheduling of training sessions, ensuring alignment with departmental goals
- Oversee onboarding training for new hires and refresher sessions for existing staff
- Assist in designing and refining training modules and materials with an emphasis on insurance sales and portal use
- Deliver engaging and impactful training sessions using appropriate methodologies (e.g., webinars, simulations, in-person)
- Foster an inclusive and motivating learning environment
- Collaborate with the Training Manager to identify current and future training needs via feedback, performance data, and consultations
- Monitor and evaluate training effectiveness, compiling reports on outcomes and ROI
- Gather team feedback and recommend program enhancements
- Lead by example in promoting continuous learning and professional development
- Maintain training records, curriculum updates, and compliance with company standards
- Stay informed on industry trends and modern training practices
Requirements
- 2-4 years of experience in training and development, ideally within the insurance or sales industry.
- At least 1 year of experience in a supervisory or lead role within a training team.
- Bachelor's Degree in Education, Psychology, Human Resources, Mass Communication, or a related field.
- Strong understanding of instructional design, adult learning principles, and modern training delivery methods.
- Proficiency in MS Office and learning management systems (LMS), with excellent organizational and leadership abilities.
- Able to communicate in English at a conversational level, both verbally and in writing
