Job Summary
As a PPIC (Production Planning and Inventory Control) Manager, you will be responsible for planning, controlling, and ensuring smooth production flow as well as managing inventory at the optimal level in line with company objectives. This role requires strong analytical skills, leadership, and cross-departmental coordination to achieve efficiency and accuracy in production processes.
Responsibilities:
- Supervise all PPIC activities to ensure they run according to procedures and company targets.
- Report to top management on significant issues or achievements.
- Ensure smooth production operations through effective planning and monitoring.
- Control inventory levels to maintain them at an optimal and balanced state.
- Act as the main problem solver in the PPIC department for operational challenges.
- Develop, implement, and monitor SOPs for the PPIC department.
- Establish and approve job descriptions, requirements, and qualifications for subordinates.
- Derive and align PPIC objectives with corporate objectives.
- Conduct performance appraisals for staff and administrative personnel.
- Provide internal training for PPIC staff.
- Foster a work environment that is disciplined, effective, efficient, and conducive.
- Perform other tasks assigned by the TM related to PPIC functions.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering, Operations Management, or related field.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in PPIC/Production Planning, with at least 2 years in a managerial position.
- Strong understanding of production planning systems, inventory control, and supply chain management.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Detail-oriented, analytical, and target-driven.
- Strong computer skills, especially in Microsoft Excel and data analysis tools.
