Senior Service Engineer (Field Services & Deployment)
Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and motivated
Senior Service Engineer
to oversee the planning, deployment, and execution of service activities for compressed air systems. This role combines hands-on technical expertise with team lead responsibilities, ensuring high-quality service delivery and customer satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities
- Technical & Schedule Planning
- Develop service schedules and allocate resources based on project and service needs.
- Review backlog documentation and ensure job readiness (tools, parts, permits, etc.).
- Site Construction & Coordination
- Perform installation, inspection, diagnose, maintenance and rectification on compressed air system at various commercial and industrial establishments.
- Oversee on-site installation, commissioning, and service works.
- Ensure compliance with safety standards, technical specifications, and project timelines.
- Project Collaboration
- Coordinate with project team to align service activities with project milestones.
- Provide regular updates on progress, risks, and corrective actions.
- Service Program Management
- Administer and monitor company service and warranty programs
- Track service KPIs, warranty claims, and customer satisfaction metrics.
- Ensure timely execution of warranty repairs and program deliverables.
- Customer Engagement
- Act as a key point of contact for customers during service execution.
- Address technical issues, provide updates, and ensure customer satisfaction.
Requirements
- Diploma in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering
- Proven field service experience in compressed air systems
- Knowledge of panel programming and system diagnostics
- Strong planning and customer service skills
- Ability to guide engineers, plan and allocate service jobs, and ensure safe, efficient, and high-quality execution.
