Job Description

Full‑time 36 hours per week – Thursday, Friday and Saturday 7:30 a.m. – 8:00 p.m. This position covers the new Walk‑In Primary Care location.

Summary

Under the supervision of the Chief Diagnostic Radiology Technologist and other leadership, the Radiology Technologist performs diagnostic radiology imaging procedures and related techniques, following professional standards, state and federal regulatory requirements.

Education & Certifications
  • Graduate of a program accredited by the Joint Review Committee on Education in Radiologic Technology (JRCERT).
  • Current registration with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists.
  • Current American Heart Association Basic Life Support for Healthcare Providers certification (or equivalent).
  • Licensed and Certified by the NH Board of Medical Imaging and Radiation Therapy.
Experience

None required.

Responsibilities
  • Performs radiological diagnostic or therapeutic procedures within departmental standards.
  • Assesses pertinent information, prepares, and educates patients for procedures and expectations.
  • Completes documentation of patient care and procedures.
  • Utilizes hospital and departmental information systems and equipment operations.
  • Maintains a level of productivity, adaptability, flexibility, and timeliness in managing workload and processes to meet patient care and department needs.
  • Adheres to department policy and procedures, and practices modality‑specific safety protocols.
  • Actively engages in departmental meetings, modality meetings, and committee initiatives.
  • Completes hospital, departmental, and professional requirements.
  • Participates in assignments, duties, and responsibilities for continuous improvement in alignment with management and organizational goals.
