About the role

This is a full-time role as a Sales Engineer based in Semarang, Central Java, reporting to the sales management team at PT Arianto Darmawan. As a Sales Engineer, you will play a crucial role in driving the company's sales growth and expanding its client base in the local market.

What you'll be doing

  • Identifying and reaching out to potential customers to understand their needs and present tailored solutions
  • Conducting product demonstrations and technical presentations to showcase the company's offerings
  • Negotiating contracts and closing sales deals with new and existing clients
  • Providing post-sales support and maintaining strong relationships with customers
  • Monitoring market trends and competitor activities to develop effective sales strategies

What we're looking for

  • Minimum 2 years of experience in a sales engineering or technical sales role, preferably in the sales industry
  • Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering, Mechanical engineering, Industrial engineering, Electrical engineering or equivalent.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively engage with customers
  • Problem-solving and negotiation skills to close sales deals
  • Familiarity with the local market and industry trends in Semarang, Central Java
