Thai Union Group is seeking a
Responsible Sourcing Manager
to lead our global frozen procurement efforts and drive impactful change across our shrimp supply chain.
Key Responsibilities:
- Strategic Leadership:
Develop and implement aquaculture responsible sourcing roadmaps aligned with Thai Union's sustainability goals. - Policy & Standards:
Adapt Group Sustainability standards for aquaculture, ensuring compliance and performance across global teams. - Supplier Engagement:
Collaborate with Category Managers and Purchasing teams to monitor supplier performance and drive improvement initiatives. - Sustainability Projects:
Lead Aquaculture Improvement Projects (AIPs), supplier development programs, and initiatives focused on GHG reduction, antibiotic use, and certifications. - Compliance & Certifications: S
tay ahead of regulatory changes (e.g., ASC, BAP) and integrate best practices into procurement operations.
Key Goals:
- Achieve
42% GHG reduction by 2030
and
net zero by 2050 - Ensure
100% responsible aquaculture practices
across shrimp and feed supply - Promote
safe, decent, and equitable work
across farms and processing plants
Key Qualifications:
- Deep knowledge of aquaculture sustainability, responsible sourcing, and environmental/social standards
- Expertise in ASC, BAP, and audit schemes (e.g., BSCI, SMETA, SA8000)
- Experience with GHG Protocol, LCA methodologies, and antibiotic management
- Strong problem-solving, communication, and cross-functional collaboration skills
