Key Responsibilities
- Act as the internal technical authority overseeing vendor and internal development deliverables.
- Review and validate system architecture, database design, APIs, deployment strategies, and overall code quality.
- Provide technical direction, architectural decisions, and risk mitigation throughout the project lifecycle.
- Translate business requirements into feasible technical solutions and frameworks.
- Lead technical review sessions, sprint evaluations, and production readiness assessments.
- Ensure adherence to best practices in coding standards, DevOps, CI/CD, performance optimization, and security.
- Identify technical debt, scalability risks, and system vulnerabilities early in the development process.
- Serve as an escalation point for complex technical issues and propose strategic solutions.
- Collaborate closely with Product, Business, Security, and Infrastructure teams to ensure seamless system integration.
- Establish documentation standards and ensure effective knowledge transfer from vendors to internal teams.
- Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Systems, or a related field.
- 4-6 years of experience in software development.
- Proven experience working with or managing external vendors / third-party development teams is highly preferred.
- Strong full-stack development background (backend and frontend).
- Proficiency in modern backend frameworks such as Node.js, Java Spring Boot, .NET , or equivalent.
- Proficiency in frontend frameworks such as React, Angular, or Vue .
- Solid understanding of RESTful APIs , microservices architecture , and system integration.
- Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, or Azure ).
- Hands‑on experience with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices.
- Strong knowledge of SQL and NoSQL databases .
- Experience in system performance optimization and security best practices.
- Ability to review code repositories and conduct technical audits.
- Strong analytical and critical‑thinking skills.
