Requirements
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in culinary R&D, menu development, or as a Head/Sous Chef with creative focus.
- Strong knowledge of flavor pairing, food trends, and modern cooking techniques.
- Excellent organizational and documentation skills.
- Creative mindset with attention to detail and consistency.
- Basic English for kitchen communication and reporting.
- Ability to work collaboratively with chefs and management teams.
- Understanding of food cost control, safety, and sanitation standards.
Responsibilities
- Develop, test, and refine innovative recipes that align with Black Owl's brand identity and culinary standards.
- Research market and food trends to create dishes that are both creative and commercially viable.
- Standardize recipes, portioning, and presentation to ensure consistency across outlets.
- Collaborate with Head Chefs and kitchen teams to implement new menu items and improve existing ones.
- Evaluate ingredient quality, cost efficiency, and supplier performance.
- Conduct tasting sessions and gather feedback for continuous product improvement.
- Maintain detailed documentation of product trials, recipes, and production methods.
