About the role
As the Exim Senior Supervisor at PT. Polygroup Manufaktur Indonesia, you will play a crucial role in managing export & import activity and custom relations in Grobogan Factory, Purwodadi, Central Java. This full-time position is responsible for ensuring the seamless flow of goods and materials, contributing to the overall success and growth of the organisation.
What you'll be doing
- Oversee and coordinate the import and export of raw materials, components, and finished products to and from our manufacturing facility
- Manage customs clearance procedures and liaise with relevant authorities to ensure compliance with all applicable regulations
- Coordinate logistics and transportation arrangements for the timely delivery of goods
- Monitor inventory levels and make recommendations to optimise supply chain efficiency
- Provide expert guidance and support to the logistics team, ensuring they are well-equipped to handle all import and export-related tasks
- Identify and implement process improvements to streamline operations and reduce costs
- Analyse data and generate reports to track performance and inform strategic decision-making
What we're looking for
- Minimum 6 years of experience in a senior supervisory role within the shipping/transportation management industry
- Thorough understanding of import and export regulations, customs procedures, and international trade logistics
- Excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills with a proven ability to work under pressure
- Strong leadership and team management skills to effectively coordinate and develop the logistics team
- Proficiency in data analysis and report generation using relevant software tools
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to liaise with internal stakeholders and external partners
- Adaptability to changes in the industry and the ability to implement innovative solutions
