ESA Sampoerna Group is seeking a young talent Recruiter to be stationed as Talent Acquisition Supervisor in Holding scope. This Surabaya based position has the following responsibilities:

  • Supervise and mentor a team of recruiters, providing ongoing coaching, training, and performance feedback while managing priorities to ensure all hiring goals are met consistently.
  • Manage team workload and priorities to maintain time‑to‑fill and quality‑of‑hire targets.
  • Collaborate with hiring managers and department heads to understand current and future manpower planning and develop specific hiring plans.
  • Develop and implement innovative sourcing strategies to build a pipeline of diverse, qualified candidates for both active and passive roles, utilizing job portals, professional networks, and other tools.
  • Design and execute effective selection strategies, including screening, interviewing, and background checks, to ensure only qualified candidates are selected.
  • Enhance the company’s employer brand through social media, career events, and candidate communications.
  • Conduct onboarding processes for new hires.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in Psychology with a minimum of 2 years of experience in a similar field.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Solid knowledge and hands‑on experience with psychological assessment tools and recruitment methodologies.
  • Strong network and proven ability to headhunt for senior, critical, niche, and specialized roles.

  • Implement recruitment best practices, process improvements, and compliance standards.
Stakeholder Engagement & Advisory
  • Act as a trusted advisor to hiring managers, guiding them through role scoping, interview planning, and candidate selection.
  • Facilitate hiring manager training on recruitment tools, interview techniques, and candidate experience.
  • Resolve escalations and ensure alignment between recruitment outcomes and business expectations.
Employer Branding & Candidate Experience
  • Lead employer branding initiatives such as job fairs, campus outreach, social media campaigns, and industry events.
  • Ensure a seamless and engaging candidate experience from application to onboarding.
  • Collaborate with Marketing and Communications to amplify Meratus EVP across digital and offline channels.
Data‑Driven Recruitment Operations
  • Track and analyze recruitment metrics (time‑to‑fill, cost‑per‑hire, pipeline health, etc.) to drive performance and decision‑making.
  • Maintain and optimize ATS/CRM usage, ensuring data accuracy and reporting capability.
  • Prepare monthly dashboards and insights for HR and executive leadership.
Candidate Profile Experience & Expertise
  • Minimum 10 years of progressive recruitment experience, including at least 2 years in a team leadership or senior advisory role.
  • Proven success in hiring across logistics, maritime, engineering, or supply‑chain sectors.
  • Strong sourcing skills including market mapping, passive candidate engagement, and executive search techniques.
  • Familiarity with regional talent markets across Indonesia and Southeast Asia is a plus.
Education & Credentials
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources, Psychology, Business, or a related field.
  • Certifications in recruitment, employer branding, or HR analytics are advantageous.
Skills & Attributes
