What you'll be doing day to day:
- Ensure that all payment transactions at the checkout counter are processed efficiently, accurately, and securely in accordance with company policies and delegated authority.
- Verify that the total amount collected at the end of each shift is accurate and balanced.
- Provide appropriate solutions to customers' inquiries and frequently asked questions to enhance the overall shopping experience. Handle payments and customer feedback in a professional, accurate, and service-minded manner.
- Maintain all checkout and cash office equipment in good working condition, following standard operating procedures and safety guidelines.

- Has proven experience in customer service, preferably in a cashier or checkout function within a fast-paced retail or hospitality environment.
- Possesses strong communication skills, emotional resilience, and the ability to manage conflict or challenging situations effectively.
