Job description:
- Identify and approach potential clients in the downstream oil & gas, petrochemical, and power sectors.
- Promote and sell valves, actuators, and related accessories based on customer applications and specifications.
- Develop and execute sales strategies to achieve monthly and annual sales targets.
- Prepare sales quotations, proposals, and tender documents in coordination with the engineering team.
- Conduct market research to identify new opportunities and industry trends.
Responsible for clarification/communication with customers from the stage of receiving inquiries until the payment process from customers can be accepted by the company. - Manage the end-to-end sales cycle from inquiry to order, including proposal preparation, negotiation, and contract finalization.
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure compliance with technical specifications and delivery schedules required by projects.
Requirement:
- Minimum Bachelor's Degree, preferably in Engineering (Mechanical, Petroleum, or Industrial).
- Minimum 5 years of experience in technical sales, preferably in valves, fittings, or industrial equipment within oil & gas, petrochemical, or power plant (downstream sector).
- Proven experience in dealing with EPC companies, distributors, and end users in industrial sectors.
- Strong knowledge of valve types and specifications (Gate, Globe, Ball, Butterfly, Check, Control Valve).
- Familiar with industry standards such as API, ASME, ANSI, ASTM, and ISO.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, especially for technical discussions with engineers and procurement.
- Results-oriented with good negotiation and commercial acumen.
- Willing to travel to client sites (including remote locations if required).
- Preferably domiciled in Jakarta, Tangerang, or Bekasi.
- Proficiency in Mandarin is an advantage
