About the Role
Kastawan Architects is seeking a talented and creative Interior Designer to join our thriving team in South Denpasar, Bali. As an Interior Designer, you will be responsible for conceptualizing and delivering functional yet visually stunning interior design solutions, incorporating Balinese architectural elements and local cultural values, across our diverse portfolio of residential and commercial projects. What You'll Be Doing
- Collaborate with clients to understand their design requirements and preferences
- Develop creative conceptual designs, space plans, and detailed design solutions that integrate Balinese architecture principles
- Select and specify finishes, furniture, fixtures, and equipment
- Prepare detailed design drawings and presentations to communicate ideas effectively
- Coordinate with project stakeholders, such as architects, contractors, and suppliers
- Ensure design compliance with relevant building codes and regulations
- Monitor and oversee the implementation of design plans on-site when needed
- Provide project management support to ensure successful project completion
- Stay updated with the latest interior design trends and innovations while applying them to Balinese architectural and cultural contexts
What We're Looking For
- Bachelor's degree in Interior Design or a related field
- 2–5 years of professional experience in an interior design role
- Fresh graduates are welcome
- Strong technical skills in computer-aided design (CAD) software, such as AutoCAD, SketchUp, and Adobe Creative Suite
- Proficiency in 3D modeling and rendering software (e.g., Vray, Lumion)
- Excellent knowledge of design principles, space planning, color theory, materials, construction methods, and traditional Balinese architecture
- Strong communication and client-facing skills
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
- Attention to detail, problem-solving skills, and a passion for creating beautiful, functional interior spaces
- Must be based in Bali
