Key Responsibilities

Project Planning & Scheduling

  • Support Project Managers by creating, updating, and tracking detailed project schedules and resource plans.
  • Develop work breakdown structures (WBS), Gantt charts, and activity sequencing using planning tools (MS Project or equivalent).
  • Coordinate project planning sessions to ensure clarity of tasks, dependencies, and constraints.

Progress Monitoring & Reporting

  • Monitor day-to-day project progress and identify schedule risks or deviations early.
  • Prepare progress reports for Management, Stakeholders, and project team members.
  • Track KPI performance (timeline adherence, productivity, resource usage).

Cross-Functional Liaison

  • Liaise with various internal teams—Engineering, Maintenance, Production, Procurement—and external contractors/suppliers to coordinate project activities.
  • Allocate resources effectively and escalate conflicts to achieve timely resolution.
  • Facilitate communication to ensure project alignment and visibility at all stages.

Documentation & Compliance

  • Maintain accurate records of schedules, updates, constraints, and approvals.
  • Ensure that all planning documents comply with APP Group's project governance procedures.
  • Support the preparation of project close-out documentation.

Requirements

  • Minimum D3 or Bachelor's Degree (S1) in Mechanical Engineer or any major.
  • Minimum 14 years of experience in project planning, organizing, and executing industrial or mechanical projects.
  • Experience in manufacturing, utilities, pulp & paper, or heavy industry is an advantage.
  • Proficiency with project planning software (Microsoft Project or equivalent).
  • Strong computer skills and proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
  • Ability to read schedules, timelines, and basic engineering coordination documents.
