Key Responsibilities
Project Planning & Scheduling
- Support Project Managers by creating, updating, and tracking detailed project schedules and resource plans.
- Develop work breakdown structures (WBS), Gantt charts, and activity sequencing using planning tools (MS Project or equivalent).
- Coordinate project planning sessions to ensure clarity of tasks, dependencies, and constraints.
Progress Monitoring & Reporting
- Monitor day-to-day project progress and identify schedule risks or deviations early.
- Prepare progress reports for Management, Stakeholders, and project team members.
- Track KPI performance (timeline adherence, productivity, resource usage).
Cross-Functional Liaison
- Liaise with various internal teams—Engineering, Maintenance, Production, Procurement—and external contractors/suppliers to coordinate project activities.
- Allocate resources effectively and escalate conflicts to achieve timely resolution.
- Facilitate communication to ensure project alignment and visibility at all stages.
Documentation & Compliance
- Maintain accurate records of schedules, updates, constraints, and approvals.
- Ensure that all planning documents comply with APP Group's project governance procedures.
- Support the preparation of project close-out documentation.
Requirements
- Minimum D3 or Bachelor's Degree (S1) in Mechanical Engineer or any major.
- Minimum 14 years of experience in project planning, organizing, and executing industrial or mechanical projects.
- Experience in manufacturing, utilities, pulp & paper, or heavy industry is an advantage.
- Proficiency with project planning software (Microsoft Project or equivalent).
- Strong computer skills and proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
- Ability to read schedules, timelines, and basic engineering coordination documents.
